Our professional development is customized to meet your needs and to accommodate today's tight budgets. There are four modules. You may choose any combination of them.

A. Tutorial for Administrators

In this session, we will give school and/or district administrators a comprehensive tutorial that includes an overview of our CMT content; the mechanics of how administrators, teachers, students, and parents use the site; the functions of the CMT Road Map pacing calendar; and strategies to use data to accelerate student achievement. Attendees, in all our sessions, need Internet access during our hands-on tutorials. We prefer scheduling two hours for this session, depending on the number of attendees. $200

B. The CMT games and The Official CMT League

This session introduces teachers and administrators to our CMT content and to The Official CMT League. We prefer scheduling two hours for this session, depending on the number of attendees, but will accommodate your schedule if you have less time available. $400

Module "B" is recommended for schools new to The Official CMT League. Module "C" should ideally be scheduled a week or two later than Module "B" so that your real student data can be used in the training.

C. The CMT Road Map: Using Data to Accelerate Achievement

This session provides teachers and administrators with for using the data generated by the system to accelerate student achievement. We ask attendees to complete a short online survey so that we can learn their comfort level with technology and their current habits in using data. We use this information to make the training as relevant and customized as possible. We prefer scheduling two hours for this session, depending on the number of attendees, but will accommodate your schedule if you have less time available. $400

D. The CMT Smackdown

This unique session takes our professional development directly to the students. We meet with classes every 30 minutes in your computer lab, with teachers present, so that you need no substitute teachers while we introduce everyone to the basics of The Official CMT League. We bring an index card for each user in your school, including that user's name, user name, and password. With your teachers' help, we distribute the cards, help students learn how to use the site, and quickly show teachers how to access their data. This is all done in the context of an exciting "CMT Smackdown" where we reward students with real prizes on the spot. We project the class roster on a whiteboard, if possible, to serve as the "scoreboard" for each class. $800 per one full school day, with as many classes as you can schedule into the computer lab.
